How to be present : Live Mindfully

Be Present: How many times in your life have you heard be present? Being present means being consciously in the moment or simply living life in the moment. A lot of our time in our life passes by reviewing the thing that has happened in the past, trying to explain our or somebody’s else actions, we live in anger, fear and regret and all of this causes a feeling of guilt or blaming other people. We live in the future or in the past and we become depressed because of our inability to let go of certain fantasies or assumptions of how our life is supposed to be or we tend to repress our negative emotions and become over-excited about the future moment, chasing goals and we miss the beauty of being present in the now. Both situations, optimism, and pessimism are extremes and they take us further from seeing life as it is, to seeing reality.

Be present – Enjoy life

Being present is the only way to enjoy life and everything that it brings. When we are mindful we can experience everything better, the food we eat, the morning coffee that we drink, our friends and family, and the connections that we have with the people in our life. Meditation is the way to becoming more present in life and in everything that we do.

Connect with yourself

Connecting with ourselves on a daily basis can make us happy, centred, and less stressed.  Every day starts with 10-15 minutes just sitting silently, breathing slowly, and enjoying the moment. It doesn’t matter if it is early in the morning or before we go to sleep at night, the important thing is to be with ourselves. After a certain period of time, you will realize that your feelings are calm and your mind is clear, your memory very strong and you will be more decisive in everyday life.
