Psychology of the happiness is defined as the positive effects of the mood, or emotional state which brings positive thoughts, and feeling. Brain chemicals or hormones that make you feel happy:

Our body produces numerous hormones for different biological processes in the individuals for good. There are four hormones that make you feel good, and promote happiness while losing depression, and anxiety problems, namely, Dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins which are distinct from each other but almost does the same function, help in feeling pleasure, and happiness, help in making bond or relationship with others, etc. Oxytocin is also called ‘the love hormone’. There are two other hormones that are secreted by the adrenal medulla, epinephrine and norepinephrine which prepare the individual to face physical or emotional stress or reduce the stress.

Definition of hormones:

Hormones are molecules, or chemical messengers which carry information from that site and send the signal to take action on the target organ by releasing hormone for that particular signal which is received by the receptor that perfectly fits for that signal, and these are secreted by the endocrine cells.

Your lifestyle choices relate to the psychology of happiness:

There are some points that show that the psychology of happiness relates to lifestyle choices which include how people manage themselves, their food habits, their way of living, their routine, how they manage physical or mental stress, etc.

Food choices:

Today, food-eating habits are the main issue of spreading diseases at a faster rate. Those people who eat healthy food have a high survival rate than unhealthy food-eating people. Eating healthy food keeps you healthy in mind, reduces mental stress, headache, and a lot of problems, and indirectly or directly keeps you happy from the outside, and inside too.

Sleep-wake cycle:

Manage your 24 hours of circadian rhythm, or biological clock. Your happiness totally depends on your day, when you wake up late in the morning, it disturbs your whole day’s schedule, which leads to irritation, rush in everything, and no work will be done correctly. So wake up early in the morning, and for that, you have to correct your sleeping schedule. Take a minimum of 8 hours of sleep regularly to stay fit, and calm in mind. A correct schedule keeps your mind fresh, which is the key to happiness in your life.

Managing work or personal life:

In this busy scheduled life, we don’t have enough time to manage our work, and personal life differently. Due to this, it leads to mental and physical stress which carries diseases and an unhealthy lifestyle. Instead of doing excessive work in an office, do only limited work on a regular basis, and learn to say no. make time for your family and yourself too instead of spending time on your mobile phone. All of these keep you away from depression, anxiety, etc. which affects your happiness.

Habits:

Follow your passion, apart from office work. Do some creativity in your life to make your day interesting. You can learn new things on holidays, and in your free time such as singing, cooking, baking, and swimming, you can play games like cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc. which keeps you healthy from inside, and outside, and happy too.

How they take failure:

Some people due to their failure in every take of their career, feel discouraged, and sad then they carry depression, failure, anxiety, panic attacks, mental stress, and sarcasm by society, they try to harm themselves which also leads to cardiovascular diseases and some other problems. Do not get disappointed in your failure because failure makes you better than the previous time. Try hard to get success in your goal, just focus on your goal, and be consistent.
