1. Take a health check

The beginning of the year is favorable for health check-ups. After parties and excesses, it is advised to get checked like check your weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels and proper functioning of your liver or kidneys (through blood tests or urinalysis).

2. Get Annual Specialist Consultation

We often ignore some annual checkups which can detect serious diseases. As such, annual medical consultations with a dentist, dermatologist, ophthalmologist, ENT, and gynaecologist should not be ignored.

3. Start participating in sports

Sport helps in maintaining good health and prevents some diseases. The WHO recommends 20 minutes of moderate-intensity and 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity endurance activity per week. It is better to have a health check-up, especially at the heart level, before starting to practice sports again.

4. Eat healthy and nutritious
